Teeth implants?!?!?

has anybody had them?


if so could you please let me know what to expect?


as i am getting my two front teeth replaced with implants because i was in an accident and my front teeth were badly damaged.





could you just let me know the what happens, how does it feel etc.

I%26#039;ve got one. They will put you to sleep for the proceedure(s).


Sometimes they do a bone graft first and let that heal a few months before the implant. When they put the implant in they will put a metal button on it and let it heal a few months before you are ready for the crown. In the meanwhile, you will wear a %26quot;flipper%26quot; or cosmetic denture to cover the space. You will have to remove that to eat.


Once the crowns are in, you won%26#039;t notice any difference from real teeth. You will forget they are there. If you smoke or have poor dental hygene they can become infected and have to be removed.
