Are "1 hour" tooth implants good?

anything a quick fix for a tooth is not something I would play with. Better talk to your dentist or get a new dentist if someone is trying to sell you on this.

Are "1 hour" tooth implants good?
probably doesn't hurt as long as two hour tooth implants. I'd guess about half as much :)
Reply:Unless this is a new procedure, I don't think so. Implants take quire a long time. Sometimes the skin tissue and bone will reject the implant. I think you should talk to a few dentists. Good Luck!
Reply:I'm a dental assistant and I have to say I have never heard of a 1 hour "tooth implant" the process for getting a permanent implant, is generally the implant is put on day 1 and a temporary crown is given on day 3 and a permanent ceramic crown given after 6-8 weeks when the implant has taken up, the gum needs to heal and accept the post.
Reply:Are you talkin about the MIDI implants. If so, my dentist said only if you are old and don't want to spend the money on a regular implant. They don't last as long either.
Reply:No, emphatically No. An implant needs to be done in predetermined time intervals. There is a part of it that is actually called the "healing" phase. Regular implants take at least 8 mo. of your life, not to mention $$$.

Your bone has to build and intergrate into the implant [usually titanium], that takes time.
Reply:Sounds like Jiffy Lube for the mouth, forget it!! Go to an accredited Oral Surgeon to get the job done right
Reply:I'm a dental technician, and I have never heard of an 1hour implant,I would be very cautious.
