Stem cell research is a vastly misunderstood branch of genetic science. Politicians, who listen to nobody in particular, have taken a moral high ground when it comes to all things genetic, since they don't understand the science either. The religious have blocked, where ever possible, legislation that would allow stem cell research. Primarily, because at first, the science was restricted to Embyonic Stem Cell research. But recent advancements, have made it possible to use adult donor cells, which will facillitate tooth implants as well as many other genetic advancements. Once we can repair ourselves through genetic manipulation and organ cloning, laws will change to reflect the progress.

Reply:Stem cells are re-genetic cells which can remake any cell in the body. Research is being done, but on allot higher and more important scale than tooth implants.
